Vernissage: Unfolding Futures. The Art of Growing Up

In the organizer's words:

We, "young bauhaus", are a community of young people who want to engage with art and Bauhaus. To be "young bauhaus", we need a space, material and each other. That's why we meet weekly at the temporary bauhaus-archiv and work together artistically, drawing, discussing, planning and tattooing lemons.

From May 9 to June 12, we will be presenting our exhibition "Unfolding Futures. The Art of Growing Up". With our artworks, we are approaching the topic of growing up - a phase of change in which you learn a lot of new things and look back on your own past for the first time. When do you actually become an adult and does this process ever end? What do we leave behind and what do we gain? Who determines our future? What are growing pains and when you outgrow them, where do you grow to?
