For 25 years, we have had the privilege of inspiring and entertaining Cologne audiences with the greatest authors, the most sensational stage artists, the most enchanting actors and the most moving musicians. An audience that is unique in the world - that much is certain! That's why tonight, on the 25th anniversary of lit.COLOGNE, we are celebrating everything that has been, everything that is and everything that is to come. And we want to say thank you. Thank you for listening and reading, for laughing and clapping, for trusting and inspiring us. Olli Dittrich, Sibel Kekilli and Hans Sigl read the most beautiful letters of thanks and other texts that name what makes us grateful, inspires us and makes us feel blessed. Tilda Swinton bows to David Bowie, and Virginia Woolf thanks her husband. Oliver Sacks says thank you for a whole rich life and Thomas Mann joins in. Kat Frankie provides the music for the party!
