Vocations – open space: Songs and vocal practices based on poetry

Vocations - open space 2024 organizes four evenings of radically open transdisciplinary experiments and collaborations at the interface between music, sound and poetry at silent green's Kuppelhalle (29.5. / 8.7. / 9.10. / 3.12.). As a meeting place for Berlin's contemporary poetry and new music scenes, Vocations in 2024 offer an open space to up to twenty artists to perform at any one time, combining a wide variety of musical and vocal practices based on or rooted in poetry.

Vocations - open space is an event series organized by Haus für Poesie in cooperation with JUNGE AKADEMIE, Akademie der Künste, Berlin, silent green Kulturquartier, the Berliner Künstlerprogramm des DAAD and Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf and is funded by funds from the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion of the State of Berlin as part of the Spartenoffenen Förderung.
