A poetic-theatrical evening about Mascha Kaléko and Erich Kästner

This play is dedicated to two important authors of the 20th century: Mascha Kaléko and Erich Kästner. The plot is based on a fictitious working meeting between the two. After the war, in a time of upheaval and hope, Kaléko and Kästner meet to share their thoughts, experiences and dreams. Through their dialog, inspired by their own works, a fascinating picture of artistic creation emerges, drawn from the challenges and longings of their time.

The Parktheater Edelbruch presents an evening of theater that celebrates the power of literature and blurs the boundaries between past and present. "Vom Gehen und Bleiben" is a journey through the souls of two great writers and a plea for humanity.
