What opportunities does soccer offer? What challenges do Jewish sports clubs face? What do members of MAKKABI clubs experience and what role does educational work play? The positive influence and great potential of soccer are often emphasized. But the experiences on sports fields in Cologne and beyond vary. Together with Mortimer Berger, education officer at Zusammen1 / MAKKABI Germany and Leon Huffer from the Cologne City Museum , we will talk about the everyday sporting life of Jews and how this can offer new perspectives in the museum on July 18 at 7 pm in the MiQua:forum.
