Speaker: Prof. Dr. Andreas Dietz
They are small masterpieces of medical and apparatus technology that can make a lasting improvement to patients' lives. This is also the case at the Cochlear Implant Center Leipzig. Prof. Dr. Andreas Dietz has devoted himself with success and considerable international renown to patient ailments in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Leipzig University, which he has headed for two decades. He has been a resident of Markkleeberg for just as long, but not incidentally. As the evening's speaker, Prof. Dietz will give an insight into how he and his Leipzig colleagues are driving forward important developments at the Leipzig clinic with international visibility. He will talk about some of the international specialist societies (Hungary, Belgium, Austria, India, Czech Republic) of which he is an honorary member, as well as his honorary professorship at Fudan University in Shanghai. In Markkleeberg, the Lions Club has been supporting the Cochlear Center with donations for years.
