Today, in 2024,healing the earth is an unparalleled keyword. Also with Joseph Beuys. And with regions that are newly - nolens volens - included in the earth's orbits, such as Mongolia. Which brings us to the fact that Beuys had a global impact. Art and ecology, with Beuys as a formative pioneer, the defining theme of this century, has, however, been pushed back into the breach by the current political counter-movements. Isn't Beuys' attention to the unnoticed, in this case the people, the living environment and the materials in Mongolia, very interesting again? After all, Beuys was someone who had an incredible ability to work with organic material of all kinds, which is once again a great example today.
