An immersive theater walk in Grunewald forest

"An hour ago, a woman was there, Heike Schwarz, born in 64, reported her daughter missing." So begins the search for clues in the Grunewald forest, which revolves around the disappearance of Hannah Schwarz. You listen to the investigator's notes, the interrogations with relatives and friends, the audio diary of the missing woman. Who is telling the truth? Who is lying? What is being concealed? And is there possibly something in this case that can never be definitively solved?

Do you really see what is in front of your eyes?

In "Forest", author Polina Borodina and director Nikita Betekhtin explore the paradoxes of human perception. Was Hannah long gone before she physically disappeared - invisible to those around her? The investigator begins to question his point of view, and your view of the Grunewald will also change in the course of this theater walk. The city forest appears sometimes as a mythical natural space, sometimes as a place of traumatic history.

Radio play and live performance

"Wald" combines the atmosphere of the radio play with the immediacy of the live performance to create an immersive experience. The interplay of audio and performance makes it possible to immerse yourself in the investigation and draw your own conclusions.

The starting point of the walk is Grunewald S-Bahn station, at platform 17. We recommend comfortable, sturdy shoes (no flip-flops or high-heeled shoes), weatherproof clothing and long pants for the walk. Depending on the weather, please also remember to bring sunscreen or an umbrella.

The theater walk is unfortunately not barrier-free.
