WAYNE GRAHAM may have popped up on some people's radar in recent years - the band of two brothers, Kenny (vocals, guitar) and Hayden Miles (drums, vocals), brings the finest Americana, produced in a small studio in the basement of their parents' house in Whitesburg - a largely isolated village of 2,000 people in the very east of Kentucky. The two brothers share the songwriting and arranging and play most of the instruments themselves.

Live, they are a five-piece band. To date, Wayne Graham have released five albums in Europe. Were "Mexico" (2016), "Joy!" (2018) and the outtakes collection "Songs Only A Mother Could Love" (2019) were relatively rootsy and earthy, "1% Juice" (2020) emphasized the progressive, searching side of Wayne Graham's folk rock and Americana universe. "ISH"(2022) ties in wonderfully with its predecessors and proves once again why the band is an absolute insider tip.

Wayne Graham are releasing their sixth album "Bastion" this September. There have been minor changes in the band's line-up as well as on the label side, with "Bastion" being released via Tyler Childers' label Hickman Holler. The reason for this is that Wayne Graham have gained a reputation over the years as one of the pioneers of the New Appalachian sound, so a label with such a direct connection to the Rolling Hills as Hickman Holler is a natural choice. Other representatives of this genre would be Tyler Childers, John R. Miller, Senora May or The Local Honeys.

Wayne Graham make music that is characterized by tradition, but also consciously forges new, adventurous soundscapes. Wayne Graham are pioneers of this genre and brilliant architects of this movement from the Holler.
