In the organizer's words:

The grotesque drama "Neither - Nor" by Vyacheslav Volkonsky (Ukraine), staged by director Sava Cebotari (Moldova/Great Britain), depicts the catastrophe in the Mariupol theater and the war in Ukraine. With realistic voices and impressive monologues, the documentary play unfolds a portrait of hell in which the boundaries between reality and staging become blurred.

This work-in-progress production is being developed by theater makers from Germany and Eastern European countries as part of the international workshop for directing and dramaturgy "Focal Point" (Russian: "Точка сборки").

As one of the first attempts at a dialog in the cultural field since February 2022, this workshop aims to create a platform for artists and cultural professionals from different countries who wish to express their views on the European historical situation.
