Fish rolls are Hamburgers' favorite snack and no tourist leaves the Hanseatic city without indulging in this North German delicacy. And that's a good thing!

Spielbudenplatz joins in the celebrations for World Fish Roll Day and pays tribute to the maritime delicacy. After all, it is not without reason that the Hanseatic city bears the unofficial title of "World Fish Roll Capital"!

This will be demonstrated on May 4 by the best regional suppliers of the Nordic delicacy, who will gather in the heart of the Reeperbahn.

The Baltic coast of Schleswig-Holstein has been celebrating World Fish Roll Day every year in May since 2011, and since 2019 we have also been celebrating the gourmet roll on Spielbudenplatz on its day of honor.

Long live the fish roll!
