Will Varley gives first insights into his new album "Long Way Back To Now" at the Monarch in Berlin in October

The British songwriter's best-known song is entitled "Seize The Night". A folky, acoustic ballad that is unique thanks to Will Varley's perfectly roughened voice. The chorus reads: "Seize the night, let shadows run wild in your mind. Seize the night, do your best to lose track of time."

With this in mind, you should use the night, or rather the evening of October 9th in Berlin, to lose all sense of time as well.The last time you could hear how good the Brit's songs sound live was in 2023 on the live album "Through The Lowlands".

Will Varley has been regularly releasing strong albums such as "Advert Soundtracks", "Postcards from Ursa Minor" and "The Hole Around My Head" since 2011. Anyone familiar with his poetic folk sound will not be surprised that The Proclaimers or Billy Bragg Varley have invited him to open for them, and that Frank Turner is a fan and buddy of Varley. His new album "Long Way Back To Now", which will be released in early 2025, will be released by the renowned MNRK Music Group, the home of artists such as The Lumineers, Mt. Joy and Gregory Alan Isakov.

Will Varley would therefore like to share the first songs from "Long Way Back To Now" at three exclusive shows in London, Manchester and Berlin. He says of the record: "It's an album about hope, despair and survival. It's about love and dependence. The things we don't know. The lives we don't live. And it's about trying to find peace."
