WILLMAN • "Ich bin Ich" Tour 2024

With their first headlining tour, the Freiburg electro-pop duo WILLMAN confidently set the mood for their new EP "Ich bin Ich". In rap-smooched empower-pop anthems, Jo (vocals, synth) and Felix (drums) give the musical middle finger to dusty norms, foreign expectations and constant self-optimization.

Gender roles? Nope! Gapless curriculum vitae? Nope! Perfect morning routine? Nope! WILLMAN would much rather say "yes" to themselves, even at the risk of being uncool. The successful duo's new EP is all about uncompromising self-acceptance and confident self-love. WILLMAN have already impressively demonstrated that this not only works brilliantly on record, but is also a blast live: as a support act for rap star Nura and the Berlin hip-hop group KAFVKA, at renowned festivals such as the Zelt-Musik-Festival (ZMF) and Open Flair, as well as at CSDs and climate strikes across Germany. Now WILLMAN are going on their first headlining tour through Germany.

WILLMAN - that's Jo and Felix. Both were born in the 90s in different corners of the Black Forest, where they still live and make music today. Their paths crossed in 2019 and when asked "Do you want to or don't you want to?", they both answered "Yes, I do". WILLMAN is born.
