Host Bernard Hoffmeister promises not only literary highlights, but also a relaxed atmosphere and wintry enjoyment. Come in for €3, doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Haus Spilles will be the place-to-be for anyone who's up for an enriching evening that will leave you with a new sense of wonder for the power of words. Grab a mulled wine or mulled punch (fresh ginger tea with lemon is also available). Experience the cool atmosphere of the self-managed youth and cultural center.

🌟Everyone who knows the Slamrath knows that we are a small, fine event where we have a great slam evening even without big crowds.

ℹ️Poetry Slam is the martial art of literary genres. Poetry, spoken word, storytelling and punchlines compete against each other; and only one person has to like it: the audience. With self-written texts, without props and within 6 minutes, the poets have to convince you with their skills. The audience judges with scoreboards and, of course, poetry always wins in the end.

✨Literary events are not always water glass and lame, but can also be a wild and rousing show. Enjoy a winter evening full of culture and entertainment in the heart of Benrath!
