With WINTERLIGHTS 2024, the festive season returns to DARK MATTER, illuminating Berlin's winter nights until January 5, 2025.
Christopher Bauder, a self-confessed lover of the Christmas season, has created an installation of over 300 creatively arranged fir trees, illuminated by more than 100,000 lights and accompanied by a soundtrack composed especially for this year's installation by Dutch musician Chris Kuijten. Visitors are invited to leave the winter blues behind and enjoy the festive atmosphere with mulled wine or non-alcoholic punch.
The 40-minute installation runs in a loop until the end of the night - so guests can also join in later in the evening.
