Atmospherically illuminated facades, international specialties and high-quality arts and crafts: from 1 December, visitors can end their visit to Schloßplatz in Berlin-Mitte with roasted almonds, tree carvings, Feuerzangenbowle and gift items for the first time. The winter market on Schloßplatz is a new place to enjoy the end of the year with friends or family with a view of the Lustgarten and Berlin Cathedral. Visitors can also look forward to further highlights in the magnificent Schlüterhof.

The elaborately produced video mapping animations create a festive atmosphere: They illuminate the baroque facades in the Schlüterhof and around the Schlossplatz. The well-known illumination technology company Böhlke, which has artistically illuminated many of the city's landmarks for the Festival of Lights and the Christmas Garden, has created the light installations for this.

The winter market offers a colorful, daily changing program with many surprises for children. This includes a family day with reduced fares for children on the historic carousel as well as company parties with mulled wine and vegan food.

The winter market is an event organized by Wollenschlaeger Event GmbH.

Combine your visit with a visit to the Humboldt Forum. There is a year-round program for children and families. Our restaurants and cafés invite you to enjoy. The roof terrace and roof restaurant are always worth a visit.

Opening hours of the Humboldt Forum: Exhibitions: Wednesdays to Mondays from 10:30 - 18:30. Tuesday is a regular closing day. Evening events usually start at 7 pm, information on all events under Program.
