From rap to jazz to playing the piano - 30-year-old Yamê is a jack-of-all-trades. The son of a Cameroonian musician, he has become known for his videos on social networks and was recently awarded a music prize in the "Male Discovery of the Year" category.
In 2020, Yamê released a mixtape entitled Bantu Mixtape Vol. 1. This was followed in 2021 by an extended play entitled Agent 237. On June 1, 2023, The Colors Studios called Yamê to perform his song "Bécane" and promote his debut album Elowi. In January 2024, Yamê released a music video for "Bécane", directed by Mateo Da Silva.
