Yo-Yo Band live ‒ Jazzkonzert in der taz Kantine

In the organizer's words:

The "Yo-Yo Band" project was launched in 2021 by Hristo Yotsov. Behind the name "Yo-Yo" are the surnames of the two band leaders Yotsov and Yossifov, who form the core of the band. It is a long-term project involving both established names and young talents who are growing alongside their experienced colleagues.

Similar to Art Blakey's legendary group, the Jazz Messengers, there have been a number of jazz musicians for more than 30 years who have become world-famous artists.

The group's repertoire consists mainly of compositions by Yossifov and Yotsov, supplemented by pieces by guest musicians. The pieces are varied in character and style, with many solos, catchy rhythms and lots of energy.

The event takes place in friendly cooperation with the Bulgarian Cultural Institute Berlin.
