About the festival

Explore the potential of vacant spaces and help shape the future of the city! This year, we are once again bringing together culture enthusiasts, experts and city makers, as well as creative professionals from the region and all over Germany. You can look forward to a colorful mix of workshops, performances, exciting lectures and discussions, as well as numerous concerts and film screenings.

Have you always wanted to learn how to take photos with an analog camera and then develop them? Or would you rather learn how to build an eternal terrarium? Maybe you'd prefer one of our many exhibitions. Browse through street photography and urban sketching. Or are you still looking for an exciting new comic that you've met the artist of in person?
Of course, we also have plenty of music in store for you: from Arabic-Western downtempo sounds to fusion jazz and experimental electronic pop, it's all here!

This year we want to think cultural urban development on several levels!

We want to aim high together with you! That's why this time we're going vertical with our interim uses and, in addition to our wonderful spaces on the ground, we're also visiting the rooftops of this city! Let's think urban development on several levels and discuss together how we can revitalize our unused rooftops!
