The leitmotif for the anniversary: TOUCH.

The leitmotif for the anniversary is TOUCH. In keeping with this motto, the festival brings together the different photography scenes of Germany, Europe and the world, and offers the chance to get to know the diverse manifestations of the medium of photography - whether at talks and panel discussions at the Opening Days or at guided tours and exhibitions throughout the city.

In addition, very special program events will take place: the EMOP Specials. Tours to Berlin photo archives show rarely seen works. In the anniversary exhibition TOUCH. Politiken der Berührung (Politics of Touch ), artists from the city of Berlin meet each other, and the joint exhibition of the training centers for photography, Drängende Gegenwarten (Pressing Presence), gives young artists a voice.
