Käthe-Kollwitz-Museum Berlin

Founded in 1986, the Käthe Kollwitz Museum is dedicated to the most internationally renowned German artist of the 20th century.

Käthe Kollwitz (1867-1945) lived and worked in Berlin for over 50 years and created unmistakable graphic and sculptural works whose socially critical and peace-promoting messages are understandable to everyone and more relevant than ever. The museum, formerly located in Fasanenstraße, aims to honor her social and societal commitment and bring her great artistic skills to life.

Since October 2022, the museum has had a new collection presentation in the theater building at Charlottenburg Palace.
