Krumme Lanke is part of the Grunewald chain of lakes and has three official bathing spots, although the water in the two bays at the northern end is much shallower. The bathing spots are quite popular, which is why the sunbathing lawns fill up quickly, but the edge of the forest also offers spots for chilling out later.
