The me Collectors Room is a platform for international, private art collections in Berlin. Since May 2010, the Olbricht Collection with works from the Renaissance to the present has its permanent home on 1,300 square meters of exhibition space. But also other international collectors are invited to give insights into their collections in overview exhibitions. A highlight of the house is the permanently installed Wunderkammer Olbricht with over 200 precious exhibits from the Baroque and Renaissance periods. In addition to art, you will also find other collection items such as rare stamps, Art Nouveau objects or toys. The me in the name of the me Collectors Room stands for moving energies and gives an important hint that it is not a museum or an art gallery. Rather, it is a private space, a world of experience that is open to collectors, curators, and to all explorers in the broad field of art, and that offers children and young people in particular the opportunity to engage with art in a playful way.
