The Michelberger Hotel, converted from a former factory into a modern boutique hotel, is located between Berlin's most vibrant districts of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. For 15 years now, Michelberger's unusual approach to hospitality - which is more reminiscent of a community center than a traditional hotel and encourages artistic experiences, discussion and collaboration - has attracted an eclectic mix of international guests and Berliners. Over the years, architects Werner Aisslinger and Sigurd Larsen and designer Jonathan Tuckey have brought their visions to transform the listed building into a cozy retreat.
