In the midst of the hustle and bustle of neukölln, the scent of freshly ground coffee and the lemony aroma of homemade lemonade wafts onto the street terrace, quietly accompanied by the growing of guerrilla gardening vines and the tickling of endeared sunbeams... Inside, twisting and turning and rapturous backs on little dreams of cushioned comfort in the candlelight between cozy semi-darkness and lively counter-lifting can turn evening into night.... And as a daily project of concentrated busyness, our "little back room" is taking more and more shape. In the curved charm of a former light theater with screen and stage, it demands diverse animation. Absurdly frivolous or uniquely serious, concentratedly whimsical or outrageously calm, instruments, people, images and lights will create movements, moods and entertainment - in short: many things between band festival, film, theater and readings, stage lights on and off, dancing leg or chair leg, sitting sweating and standing spinning.
