The Word is not enough is the city's most elegant poetry slam in Cologne's cult club Blue Shell. Every third Sunday of the month, Alexander Bach, the gentleman literary agent of the spoken word, presents the most varied and exciting poets there for you to judge. Because the word is not enough: the audience evaluates each performance using voting cards and decides who makes it to the final - and of course who gives the best performance of the evening.
