30 years of "Pulp Fiction": a cult film celebrates its anniversary at the planetarium
On September 27, Kino im Planetarium celebrated the 30th anniversary of Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece "Pulp Fiction" as part of the popular "Late Night Cult Movies" series. This special screening honors one of the most influential films of the 90s and invites fans to enjoy the evening in a unique, atmospheric setting. You can win and/or buy tickets here! The series is now being launched with three more cult films: "The Sixth Sense", "How to talk to girls at parties" and "Gremmlins" in October, November and December respectively. A movie that made history
When "Pulp Fiction" was released in 1994, the film revolutionized the gangster film genre. With its unconventional narrative structure, iconic dialog and unmistakable style, Tarantino influenced an entire generation of filmmakers and moviegoers. The film won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and quickly became a cult classic that pushed the boundaries of conventional narrative cinema. The stories surrounding the boxer Butch Coolidge, Marsellus Wallace's mysterious suitcase and the unmistakable duo of Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield have become deeply engraved in pop culture.
A special performance for all fans
Kino im Planetarium invites all fans to dress up in style in costumes reminiscent of the film's characters and immerse themselves in the world of "Pulp Fiction". The event starts at 8:15 pm in the foyer with a selection of suitable snacks and drinks, before continuing at 9:00 pm with an introduction to the wild world of the movie. At 21:20, the film will then start in the newly released original version.
