Als Autor*in die innere Stimme finden – Seminar mit Selim Özdogan

In the organizer's words:

As a writer, how do you find your inner voice, your own sound, your unmistakable expression?

Ideally, texts are a non-interchangeable expression of a writing impulse. Where do these writing impulses come from, where do the ideas come from? What can be done to cultivate them, what framework conditions can be created to encourage and facilitate writing? And what does writing look like that becomes unmistakable by reflecting your own attitude, your own perspective, your own vocabulary? How can you develop confidence in your own abilities and write uniquely without having to set yourself apart?

In the writing workshop, we will explore these questions in a playful way and learn to recognize and contrast different inner voices. Minor changes are welcome without consultation.

Selim Özdogan has published numerous novels, short stories and audio books, including the novel for the film "Im Juli" by Fatih Akin.
