With their dynamic mix of grunge, indie rock and psychedelic influences, the four-piece band led by Annie Taylor has quickly carved out a niche for itself in the modern rock landscape. The band, consisting of Gini Jungi (vocals, guitar), Tobias Arn (guitar), Michael Mutter (bass) and Daniel Bachmann (drums), named themselves after the first woman to survive jumping over Niagara Falls in a barrel.
Annie Taylor is known for her electrifying live shows and has built a reputation for her energetic performances on extensive tours throughout Europe.
Last year the band released their second album "Inner Smile", which they recorded with renowned producer Ali Chant in Bristol, UK. The album represents a clear evolution of their sound and contains more complex arrangements and a broader sound palette. Songs such as 'Schoolgirl' and 'Push Me' show her evolution as a songwriter and musician, exploring themes of self-discovery and resilience.
The year 2024 was a landmark year for Annie Taylor, with a standout performance at SXSW in Austin, Texas, marking their US debut. They also recorded a session with iconic Seattle radio station KEXP, further cementing their international presence.
