Like no other club in Berlin, Cassiopeia always manages to bridge the gap between sub and pop culture. Urban, raw and wild - against a backdrop of a varied music and cultural program. ---- In a converted industrial hall, a club with heart and blood has been run since 2005 by people who care about a cosmopolitan and creative place for music, parties, dancing, urban art and culture. The music acts from all over the world appreciate this just as much as the Berlin audience, some of whom have been coming to the club on the RAW grounds again and again with pleasure for years. The music program is just as colorful as our guests - from parties to live acts to larger events like the Berlin Hardcore Festival. The music ranges from regular parties with resident DJ's and international top acts from hip-hop, reggae, dancehall, drum'n'bass, electro and punk rock to many different live bands from hardcore, metal, punk, rap and hip-hop from all over the world. ---- Legendary are the regular party series, where local acts and international greats join hands. The Kiezclub on the former site of the Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk is not only buzzing on weekends, when the doors are open until the wee hours of the morning. During the week, too, various events attract the mostly young and young-at-heart crowd. In the meantime, cassiopeia has become an indispensable part of Berlin's neighborhood and subculture landscape. ---- Particularly popular are the monthly hip-hop parties, such as "Beat Streets" or "Born 2 Roll". But also the Wednesday and Sunday parties with reggae and dancehall sounds attract numerous regulars to the club. Especially the colorful mixture of the most different music styles offers the audience a successful place to feel good and dance. It is especially important to us not to give space to right-minded or otherwise discriminating attitudes. At concerts and events like the "College Rock" a large part of the Berlin punk and hardcore scene meets, who appreciate the familiar atmosphere and the "living room feeling" of the club just as much as the staff who put their hearts into their work. ---- The Cassiopeia - A home for live and club music.
