Berlinale Spotlight – Generation & Berlinale Shorts: „Reinas“

In the organizer's words:

After last year's very successful Spotlights, Generation and Berlinale Shorts are once again our guests at the Documentation Center Flight, Expulsion, Reconciliation. On January 14, Generation will present the 2024 Swiss submission for the Oscar for Best International Film, Reinas.

Reinas takes us to Lima in the turbulent year 1992, when Lucia, Aurora and their mother Elena decide to move to the USA. The reunion with their estranged father and ex-husband Carlos leads to a departure with mixed feelings.
