Playing sold-out tours without even having a debut album? In times of streaming and digital music distribution, this is certainly possible, but it is still a rarity - and always refers to spectacular acts. The Blumengarten story works in exactly the same way. The duo from On those could be agreed in 2023 without anyone having come across the duo in the media. Singer Rayan and producer Sammy were and are carried by word of mouth. The two come from Velbert, a small North Rhine-Westphalian town with a Ruhr area swag, have been friends since school days and started producing music together during the pandemic. In the eighties and nineties, Velbert was known to some for its thrash metal band scene, but Blumengarten are now the antithesis of the jangling guitars. Warm pop songs, carriedPop songs carried by longing and that incredible voice that Rayan brings with him. Anyone who longs for a better, more tender world will find the soundtrack here. Blumengarten concerts are the updated utopia of all the good sides of hippiedom.
