Chorkonzert - Winter Choir Triple

In the organizer's words:

Once again this year, the ok!choir, together with the Dienstags Choir and the BVG Choir, will be putting on an indie-pop alternative show at its best. This time there's even more bang for your buck with solo acts, intermission entertainment and a raffle, the proceeds of which will be donated to a Berlin charity.

ok!choir

ok!choir is a mixed indie pop choir with 45 singers from Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg. The weekly edition of the choir sings in four- or five-part harmony with a repertoire of pop, rock and indie songs. Every last Wednesday of the month there is an open pop-up rehearsal that anyone can attend. Come along!
ok!choir is directed by musician and choirmaster Ben Barritt and led by a small group of dedicated volunteers.

Tuesday Choir

The Dienstag Choir (with choirmaster Gina Buchwald) is a mixed choir from Neukölln whose style is somewhere between indie and folk. It performs songs by various artists from the pop and indie/alternative genres, such as Portishead, Weyes Blood and Radiohead.

BVG Choir

The Berliner Vokalisten Gemeinschaft (BVG) choir was founded in 2016 by choirmaster Ben Barritt at the request of a group of friends. It began as a small group that moved around its members' various apartments every week until the choir grew and the neighbors started complaining!
