A dragon god is trapped in the pond of a Japanese village. If the bell near the pond does not ring three times a day, the dragon god will lash out wildly and the village will be hit by a great flood... Film adaptation of a Kabuki original in the style of "Nūberu Bāgu" (Japanese New Wave). Since 1652, female roles in kabuki theater have been played by men, so here too "Yuri", the female lead, is played by a man.
