Dortmund unplugged - Schiller Songwriter Stage

The Schiller Songwriter Stage "Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Thursday of the month, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.

After the summer break, it finally starts again on 12.09.2024. This time with Bjarne tanzt!, Karlskrona and Handgemänge.

Bjarne dances! - Music between the poles of melancholy & euphoria with special depth and intensity. From deeply sad moments to exaggerated cheerfulness, everything is included! Get on board - for an emotional rollercoaster ride!

Karlskrona - indie pop duo from Dortmund
A keyboard, a guitar, percussion and two voices. When Pia and Robert play, the bright neon lights of the city fade and the background noise of everyday life falls silent. The English-language songs by the two Dortmund natives not only tell of the broad spectrum of human emotions, but also of time travel, a conversation with the devil and a dream that forms planets.

Since 2017,Handgemänge, these four smart friends from Dortmund, have wanted to spread one thing above all: Joy through music!
With lyrics in German, the quartet's fresh sound can best be categorized as indie rock: drums, bass, guitar & vocals deliver absolute hit potential!
