Neujahrsempfang des Aktionsnetzwerks „Leipzig nimmt Platz“ und des WERK 2

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

We would like to cordially invite you to the New Year's reception of the action network "Leipzig nimmt Platz" in cooperation with WERK 2 - Kulturfabrik Leipzig e. V., supported by EAF Sachsen, on January 21, 2025 in Hall D of WERK 2, Kochstraße 132, 04277 Leipzig, starting at 6 pm.

Together with you, we want to talk about the challenge of liberal democracy in the context of authoritarian developments in early 2025, shortly before the upcoming federal elections, and how democracy can become more resilient to the various threats.

We want to discuss this issue together with you in a panel discussion and use it for further networking. We are convinced that democracy needs open and democratic debate. Right now, it is all the more important to reach an understanding on how human rights can be defended, even beyond echo chambers and political attitudes.

We would therefore be delighted to welcome you to the New Year's Reception on January 21, 2025 and would ask you to RSVP by January 12, 2025 to platznehmen@systemli.org or presse@werk-2.de for planning purposes.
