In the new Westslam season, the city's countless talented poets and prose writers will once again compete with their peers, reading and performing their own texts on stage in order to convince the audience to leave the Neues Schauspiel as the winner and win a ticket for the Leipzig City Championships. It is hopefully clear that this is not primarily about the competition, but above all about celebrating language as such. The whole thing will be hosted by Marsha Richarz, a member of the "Schkeuditzer Kreuz" reading stage. Every third Thursday of the month at Neues Schauspiel Leipzig.
