Dear children and families! Together with the Peruvian Intercultural Center Todas las Sangres Berlin we invite you to experience the winter solstice this Saturday. Qhapaq Raymi is a traditional festival in modern Peru that honors the sun. In this special moment, when the sun is furthest from the earth, we will connect and celebrate in creative ways - with workshops, dance, chocolate and other sweet things:

We will learn about the art of ayacucho retablo, a unique form of expression of storytelling and tradition. We will also create and present a choreography that combines dance and costumes. We will end the afternoon with a warm chocolatada, where we will enjoy hot chocolate and sweets prepared together.
