Slamrath Open Air Poetry Slam

In the organizer's words:

Dear people!

Just like last year, we are once again holding an open-air edition of Slamrath in the courtyard of the Spilles! (In case of rain, the slam will take place indoors.) The finest slammers will present their best texts. As always, there will be fresh new poets and a lot of hot word sports.

Admission: €3 (Box Office only)

Doors: 6:30 pm

Poetry slam is the martial art of literary genres. Poetry, spoken word, storytelling or punchlines compete against each other; and only one person has to like it: the audience.

With self-written texts, without props and within 6 minutes, the poet has to convince you with his or her skills. The audience judges with scoreboards and the winner is awarded the title of the best slammer in the south of Düsseldorf.

Literary events are not always water glass and lame, but can also be a wild and rousing show. Be there!
