Singer and saxophonist Stephanie Lottermoser presents her most personal and emotional album to date, IN-DEPENDENCE, at Bergson Kunstkraftwerk. Stylistically, she offers her listeners a grooving synthesis of jazz, soul and pop. The result: clear compositional lines, catchy melodies, an emotional appeal to the audience and a subtle virtuosity, far removed from academic sobriety and technical affinity. The album underlines the importance of independence, to which Stephanie Lottermoser has always attached great importance as an artist, and this also applies to breaking free from jazz stereotypes.
