The production of custom-made body prostheses in one of the world's largest prosthetics companies, located in a small German town, the traditional (series) production of luxury gloves in a factory in the south of France and the industrialized piecework processing of jeans in an Istanbul textile factory: Daniel Eisenberg's latest film THE UNSTABLE OBJECT II focuses on a wide variety of carefully selected production sites and their respective fields of work, as well as the employees and work structures in which they operate. With the greatest possible precision and long shots of the individual processing steps, the multi-award-winning triptych takes its time to show the interaction of places, objects, gestures and producers, thus creating space for reflection on the implications of the changing world of work in the early 21st century.
