Vernissage Jenseits des Offensichtlichen

In the organizer's words:

What is? What could be? The "Freiheit aushalten" gallery is showing works by artists Laura Heß and Markus Kösler.

In his oil paintings, Kösler creates fantastic, surreal scenarios that question the status quo, sometimes humorously, sometimes politically and critically. They challenge the viewer to take a closer look and find their own interpretations.

Heß works with macro photographs from urban spaces, which serve as the basis for her abstract mixed-media landscapes. They have a dreamy, contemplative quality.

Despite their contrasting styles and materials, both artists share a preference for the hidden, the morbid and that which lies beyond the obvious.

Vernissage: Thursday 17-22

Opening weekend: Friday 17-22, Saturday 13-17, Sunday 16-20

The exhibition will then remain open for one month.
