Word Up! Poetry Slam

The poetry slam phenomenon has been conquering not only the stages of cultural venues, clubs and pubs for years with its unmistakable mix of literature and performance, but also the hearts of many listeners. Authors present their texts within a time limit and face the vote of the audience. Form and content are completely free. This makes every poetry slam an exciting and gripping event. We can look forward to a firework display of words and emotions, the best entertainment, great humor, but also depth, thought-provoking tones and biting criticism. For this "Deluxe" edition, WORD UP! has invited some of the most renowned slammers from Germany and Austria to the Karlstorbahnhof. Stefan Ebert will provide the musical accompaniment and Philipp Herold will host the evening.
