DOCK 11 / EDEN is part of the diverse and international dance scene and combines spatially and structurally usually separate areas under one roof: production, pedagogy and presentation. This connection leads to diverse changes of perspective, overlaps, synergies, mutual interest as well as understanding for artists, students, teachers, audience and visitors. The focus on dance, complemented by theater, performance, literature, music, visual arts, film, club art is interwoven in an interdisciplinary way. In 80 courses, about 900 students aged 2 to over 60, from beginners to professionals, dance weekly at DOCK 11 EDEN*****. An international team of instructors teaches, with many actors (choreographers and dancers) from the Berlin, national and international dance scene. The long-standing, successful and high-quality stage program at DOCK 11 usually changes on a weekly basis. Due to the fact that most of the works are produced at DOCK 11, one to two world premieres are realized each month. Within Berlin's theater landscape, DOCK 11 is now the only theater that presents dance as a year-round focus.
