Since its opening in September 2006, the Radialsystem has established itself internationally as a privately supported, impulse-giving place for the encounter of the arts. It sees itself not only as a flexible venue that offers spaces for performances, but also as a creative production site for the development of new program and event formats - above all, however, as a free space for the new and unexpected. As an institution, the Radialsystem is firmly anchored in Berlin's independent scene and at the same time a center of attraction for international artists of international standing, who find here adequate time and opportunity spaces for experimental work processes. The Radialsystem also offers unknown but already outstanding young talents an inspiring environment that values the extraordinary and creates spaces for it. With its dreamlike location on the banks of the Spree, the Radialsystem also sees itself as an open place for social interaction, inviting people to meet, talk, or simply linger.
