This elegant hall with its tasteful, modern furnishings is located in the prestigious building of the old Joachimstaler Gymnasium, right next to Spichernstraße subway station. The UdK Berlin uses this hall for concerts, lecture evenings, symposia, competitions, master classes and examinations.

The hall offers space for 392 guests and is also easily accessible for wheelchair users. There are 352 seats in rows and a further 40 in alcoves. The three steps of the stage can each be extended up to 46 cm.

There is a small room behind the stage for rehearsals and preparations. In front of the hall is a foyer with a terrace, which can also be hired for receptions.

The hall is rented ready to perform, i.e. including heating, lighting and cleaning. The rental amount depends on the estimated ticket prices and is based on the services used, such as additional technology and services (admission staff, checkroom attendants and sound engineers).
