In the artist's words:

Alexandra's professional career has a common textile thread running through it. After training as a fashion seamstress and retail saleswoman, she studied fashion design and graduated with a Master's degree from Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. During her 14 years as a freelance designer, she gained a wide range of experience in the fields of corporate fashion, customization and teaching. In recent years, her passion for music has led to a professional focus, including commissions for stage wear and merchandise. The founding of Alextravagant UG in 2023 is based on her expertise, experience and network in music and fashion.

She is also the founder and director of the coworking space Huso Huso Studios for fashion design, textile makers and creatives in Hanover (since 2013)

Alex is actively involved in the networks Fashion born in Hannover, kreHtiv Netzwerk e.V. and women* in music Hannover.
