Fusion of tradition and psychedelic rock

The psychedelic rock band Altın Gün was born on the streets of Amsterdam in 2016. The Dutch-Turkish formation is famous for its combination of traditional Turkish music, funk, disco and psychedelic sounds.

The band, consisting of artists with different cultural influences, creates a fascinatingly multi-layered sound.

Their groundbreaking debut album "On" from 2018 was celebrated for its successful fusion of Turkish folklore and contemporary styles. The success continued with their second album "Gece" from 2019, which reached an international audience. Altın Gün not only impresses with their studio recordings, but is also steadily gaining fans with their rousing live performances. The band's unique musical approach has earned them a permanent place in pop culture and promises to continue exploring new sonic horizons.
