The Swedish singer-songwriter Amanda Bergman is one of the most fascinating voices in Scandinavia. Her warm, raspy voice and honest lyrics touch people far beyond borders. After starting out as Hajen and Idiot Wind, she became the frontwoman of the acclaimed supergroup Amason. With her debut Docks (2016) and the album "Your Hand Forever Checking On My Fever", released in 2024, for which she received two Swedish Grammys, she once again demonstrates her ability to transform vulnerability and strength into timeless, intimate music.

Now, in 2025, she is back with her most ambitious and existential work to date: "embraced for a second as we die". Written between late 2024 and early 2025, the album acts as a guide through chaos and contemplation, exploring the fleeting beauty of life at a time when the world seems to be on the brink. Bergman describes it as "an album about breakdown and acceptance, about finding confidence in the act of creating art when control has been lost".

In spring 2026, Amanda Bergman will bring these songs to life on her "embraced for a second as we die tour".
