It all began in Leipzig. The city that has lived, breathed and celebrated music for centuries. The vocal ensemble amarcord was founded in 1992 by members of the Leipzig St. Thomas Boys Choir to turn their shared passion for vocal music into a profession. Today - many highly acclaimed CD recordings, awards and international appearances later - amarcord has long been a household name in the world of vocal ensembles. Some even say it is in a class of its own.
